Toshiba MK8025GAS 80 GB laptop

The hard drive is making clicking noise and is not in BIOS. This has crashed before. While under warranty a new hard drive was installed. Do you think there is something definitely wrong with this laptop / Toshiba PSM40U-01R001 ? It is only 1 1/2 yrs. old.

Toshiba MK3018GAS 30 GB laptop

Drive working fine at end of day. On power up next morning, drive making noise and blue screen with writing telling about corrupt files (didn't record file name). Told to re-boot. On re-boot, drive making more noise and then computer stated NO Bootable Device. Bios state none for primary HDD.
